  MDL Lasers

  We developed a bespoke marketing support intranet that helps MDL Lasers (York, UK) share resources across their international group.

  The project started with researching existing intranet products. These solutions were considered too heavy or expensive for MDL's needs. Engine Room saw an opportunity to glue together some great open source technologies to build this lightweight intranet solution.

  NHS Trust Patient System

  In conjunction with Restart Consulting, we developed this Patient Administration System for Sandwell NHS Trust. The system gave clinicians a consolidated view of data across 3 sites.

  yUML

  yUML is one of our own creations. It's a fun and useful online diagramming tool for business analysts, bloggers, lecturers and geeks.

  yUML allows business analysts and programmers to create and share technical diagrams quickly. yUML diagrams are great for helping discussions and augmenting technical specifications.

  Diagrams can be added to blogs, forums or documents in very little time. This fun little project has caused quite a stir in the community!
